How much does preventative spraying cost?
The cost to have a tree preventatively sprayed will vary by company, by brand of chemical, and the number and size of trees to be sprayed. The current “average” appears to be between $8.00 and $15.00 per tree. For the MPB, trees need to be treated only once per year. Beware that many of the lower priced applicator use a lesser mixture rate of chemcial as well a contract labor paid by the number of trees sprayed each day and not by how well they spray your trees.
