How much does Monkey cost?
Monkey’s free to join (like all our animal packages). Then as long as you top-up by 5 or more a month, you get free music online and 600 minutes of free music on your mobile, along with loads of free texts every month. You also get our simple flat rate of 20p a minute for calls and 10p for texts to any network, anytime. When you call 247 to listen to your music, you can also press 5 to get a free text message with the track name and artist of the song you’re listening to. And you can share your playlists with friends by sending them a free text from the Monkey website. Paying to listen to music If you’re on Monkey but you’ve not topped-up by 5 in a month, or you’ve used up all your free minutes (which would be quite a feat), you can still call 247 to listen to music but it will cost 5p a minute (or 10p a minute if you’re in your Reserve Tank).
