How much does it hurt to get hit by a paintball?
It hurts far less than an airsoft bb which is far more accurate. No stupid hopper sticking up either. Paintballs = bruises the size of quarters, airsoft = bruises the size of dimes. The pain level corresponds about the same as well. Key factor for me is the shrapnel factor of a paintball. If it hits you wrong the paintball casing will fragment and pieces of the plastic casing will actually turn into shrapnel that will shred you (especially when cold). After digging pieces of plastic shrapnel out of knuckles and what not, I’d had enough. The first time you pick up an airsoft gun and realize how accurate it is, you may convert as well. Best part is spending $12/day for a bag of bb’s rather than $60/day for some paint.
