How much does it cost to use my.umich?
There is no cost for using my.umich. It is provided to anyone on campus who is eligible to receive the Basic Computing Package. How did the my.umich Project start, and who is working on it now? In fall 1999, Jose-Marie Griffiths, University Chief Information Officer (CIO) initiated a project to develop a Web environment that would present personalized information, services, and resources to University audiences. Current project team members come from Information Technology Central Services (ITCS). Consultants from Apple Computer, Inc. have also worked on the project.
