How much does it cost to take a taxi from las vegas airport to stratosphere hotel?
I live within minutes of the Stratosphere and have taken the taxi to the airport and back. Expect to pay a rate of about $18- plus tip. The actual rate depends on the traffic flow and which roads the driver actually takes. So far, I have the max payout for the trip at $25- (including tip) during serious traffic and all main roads. Beware- if the driver decides to take you via ALL main roads, he’s doing it to extend the ride, hence increase his rate of pay. I’ve had some honest taxi drivers tell me the shortcuts…such as Joe Brown for example. Although I haven’t tried all of the services, my best experiences and cleanest rides have been via Whittlesea 702-384-6111. All taxi services will be a while wait around dinner time if you do not plan ahead. Calling at least 2-3 hours ahead and making an “appointment” is a good idea when heading out for the evening.
