How much does it cost to stay at a good Resort at Boracay Beach Philippines?
It depends what you mean by a “good resort”, and what time of the year you are coming. For P2400 you can get a big deluxe room at Villa Camilla Hotel, which is beachfront and nearby Blue Mango Inn have similar deals. If you want to stay in one of the big flashy looking places you’ll find most of them are overpriced. P4000 – P5000 will get you a nice room but often you are just paying for the name of the hotel and you could get the same sort of room in a smaller hotel for less money. But ultimately Boracay doesn’t have to be horribly expensive – that’s a bit of a myth, probably perpetuated by all those websites who only promote the high-end (pricy) resorts. You can still find cottages for around P500 per night in the Angol area, and that won’t break the bank. Beware of those Boracay resorts who call themselves Regency, Mandarin or Peninsula but are actually not part of the “real” chains of the same name, just imitations.
