How much does it cost to sponsor a child?
We seek 180 to support one of the youngsters in a residential Boys or Girls Town in India or Thailand, or in one of the Childrens Villages. Within the Child Labour Prevention Scheme, 70 a year will sponsor a childs secondary education, compensate their family for any loss of earnings, and also provide two calves for each childs family over the five year period of the scheme.
Common Hope offers two sponsorship options that you may want to consider. You can become a Lead Sponsor by making a monthly donation of $60 or more and be the only sponsor for a child or student. Or you can become a Guiding Sponsor by making a monthly donation of $30 or more and share the sponsorship of a child or student.
You commit yourself to pay a certain amount each month, which we recommend to be paid quarterly. For children in daycare facilities and primary school, a monthly fee of 29 EURO will cover school fees, school books, uniforms, food and medical help. For children in secondary school and up, the monthly fees will increase (2-3 times). You can then choose to stay as the only sponsor by paying more or share sponsorship with someone else and keep up with the regular payment of 29 EURO.
