How much does it cost to ship a tipi?
The cost of shipping a tipi (teepee) is dependent on the tipi (teepee) size you choose and the distance your tipi (teepee) will be shipped. There are some exceptions, but generally speaking, we ship covers and liners by FedEx Ground and poles by FedEx Freight. They give us a generous volume discount which we pass onto the customer. Tipi (teepee) fabric items ship out of our shop in Montrose, Colorado for between $40 and $100. Poles usually ship from our Montana pole yard although we do carry a small supply in Montrose. Shipping costs are generally between $100 and $600 for a set, but may run over $1,000 for poles longer than 27′. These require a special truck to accomodate the length.
