10 x 100watts = 1000 watts or 1 Kilowatt/hour, cost varies but will be between 9-12pence per night. I suggest that you use a 40 watt if its only a night light, or look for a branded energy saver of about 12- 15 watts, get a warm white colour it’s almost the same as a normal lamp and will save you about £40.00 per year, + the cost of 5 or 6 100 watt lamps. OR- If you must use a normal (GLS) lamp, then fit a dimmer switch and turn it low at night, this will also save energy, but not as much.
