How much does it cost to ride the North Shore express bus routes to or from downtown Boston?
All of the North Shore express bus routes fall under the inner express bus zone. The inner express bus fare is $3.50 when paid with cash-on-board or a CharlieTicket and $2.80 when paid with a CharlieCard. The inner express bus monthly pass price is $89.00. However, the express fare is only paid if you travel through one of the Harbor tunnels or cross over the Tobin Bridge. You pay only the local bus fare for all other travel on these routes.
