How much does it cost to recruit, select, train, and support corps members?
To open a new site with 30-50 incoming corps members annually, it costs Teach For America approximately $3-6 million over the site’s first three years of operation. In a new site, we raise a significant portion of the three-year budget before the site opens and leave the remaining funding for the regional executive director to raise through our local Sponsor-A-Teacher program once the site is launched.
