RS: The manufacturing cost of a pop-up book is about 1/4 the selling price. So if a pop-up book sells to the public for $20 it should cost about $5 to make. This may seem like the publisher will make a lot of profit, but that is not necessarily true. The publisher must pay for all the marketing and promotional for the book as well as its own publishing staff.
