As your question is a little general, you get the general answer. I’ve played on courses for $10 and I’ve played on courses for $150. There is a huge variety available in some places. Location is a factor, for example California courses are about twice as expensive a Florida. Public courses are usually cheaper, but also more crowded and not as well maintained. Many “private” courses are open to the public, but at an additional fee, you might ask.
