The fee for a marriage license is ninety-three dollars and fifty cents ($93.50) With successful completion of a Premarital Preparation course (four-hour course), the license fee is discounted thirty-two dollars and fifty cents ($32.50), for a total cost of sixty-one ($61.00) dollars, and is effective immediately with no waiting period. The wedding may take place that day. Should you decide not to take the Premarital Preparation course there will be a 3-day waiting period. This applies to Florida residents.
