The Met Office does not charge for its mobile content. However, your operator’s charges for using the internet on your phone will apply. Costs vary from operator to operator. Operators may charge for time spent browsing or amount of data downloaded. E.g. If an operator charges 2 per MB of data downloaded, it would cost approx. 1 penny to read three pages of a Met Office news story. Consult your operator to find out their specific charges. Sending SMS messages to the Met Office will cost 10-15p as network charges vary.
