How much does it cost to live in Eindhoven, The Netherlands?
I was hopeing that someone who knows Eindhoven a little might have answered this, because I don’t know it well at all and so it’s hard to say what the accomodation situation is like there first hand or even second hand Your largest outgoing of course is going to be rent and looking at sites online then there are student rooms (bedrooms in a shared house) advertised for under €200 so I guess it depends on what you are looking for. You are certainly not going to be able to afford an apartment on your own, so if you are prepared to live with others in a house then it is do-able. It also depends on travel as well which you didn’t mention. Will Philips pay this ( I would guess so?) or expect you to pay this. Do check this as well as this is a large expense over the month and may mean you have to find a room very close to the office location in order to cycle in (but then this area will presumably be much in demand and so more expensive).
