In the Uk and Ark from Ebay can be as little as £100 including Delivery. A good Metal Drinker or Feeder are expensive at around £30 each but you can get good Plastic ones for 1/2 that. Layers Pellets and Mixed Corn around £7 to £9 a sack which will last around 2 – 3 months for 3 birds. Then i reckon i spend around £40 a year on things like Wood shavings for the nest boxes, oyster grit and Red Mite powder. If you sell off any extra eggs for £1.00 a 1/2 dozen you should find they produce enough to cover the cost of their feed at least.
