How much does it cost to keep a rabbit a year?

Hi there. It depends on the breed, size and where it lives. But they’re generally quite cheap considering how much other pets cost. You just need to think about: food, bedding (hay/straw/wood shavings), hay to eat, vegetables/fruit. Then consider: food bowl, water bottle/bowl, hutch. In the morning, I give mine 1/3 of a bowl of rabbit pellets, a handful of hay, some cabbage and carrots. In the evening, I give them some more hay and cabbage. Make sure they have fresh water every day. By the way, try getting a rabbit from a shelter to help out with the over-flowing population of unwanted rabbits.

uhm….hehehe yes well i got a rabbit in september and with all the vet bills you have and stuff likethat with hay and straw and timothy hay and the hutches and grooming her and making sure she has food and water. It costs less than a dog, more than a cat so i would say about…..6 0r 7 hundred quid a year….
