How much does it cost to homeschool?
You can spend as much or as little on curriculum, materials and supplies as you choose. Pre-packaged curriculum tends to be expensive, though many new homeschoolers say it’s worth the cost to be able to follow pre-set guidelines. Some families prefer to pick and choose their materials from various suppliers, while others choose to go the used curriculum route and trade for or buy materials other homeschoolers have outgrown. Most homeschooling families use the free resources available from public libraries, many times eliminating the need to purchase some (or all) materials at all.
