depends on what kind of dog bigger dogs need more food-more food more money some dogs need to have their hair fixed every so often-money to get groomed some dogs live longer than others so what would be better in the long run youll need to buy a leash and a collar and a tag shots and medical care and where you got it from and what breed-if youre neighbors or someone gives it to you for free or you buy it from a store and the breed counts cause pure breds cost a whole lot more than muts lol hope that wasnt too much info
