Hi UK builder here, when you say roof that could be just re-slate or re-tile, but are the lats/ battens OK, what about the felt, roof vents or top-hats around flues etc. Then the scaffold this is around a £1000+, materials upwards from £1500+, then labour from £1200+. With new health and safety legislation all roofing work went up by 25% due to height restrictions, training and insurance. So minimum would be about £3700, and that’s without any extra complications.
