How much does it cost to get a TB skin test in Toronto?
Medically necessary TB skin tests are covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). Medically necessary TB skin tests include testing for people who are identified contacts of a TB case. People who have recently immigrated from countries where TB is more common may also be covered by OHIP for a TB skin test. There may be a fee for TB skin tests needed as a requirement for employment/school – the cost can range from $30 to $60.
