How much does it cost to buy/live in Citylights?
The cost of Citylights can be a bit confusing. There are two things involved, the “purchase price” for the apartment which range from (Early 2007 prices) $400-600 a sq ft and the maintainence, which a percentage of which actually goes to the $85 million dollar mortgage of the building. Maintenance is a wide range, but starts at a few hundred dollars and can go up to $2,000 a month for the top floors. It has been raised only once in the history of the building but could go up over time. Historically the prices started off in 1997 with $8,000 studios and $35,000 one bedrooms.
