How much does it cost to build and maintain a web site?
A.: This may or may not surprise you but having an “average” original web site built can cost thousands of dollars. There are also ongoing costs associated with domain names and hosting services, not to mention the cost associated with keeping the content current and any maintenance that needs to be done (supposedly the average hourly charge in the U.S. is somewhere between $40.00/hr to over $100.00/hr). Some churches have been blessed with someone in their ministry that can do this for them but many have not. We are providing web sites much less expensively by using templates and sub-domains.
