How much does it cost to become a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority?
Each Gamma Phi Beta chapter has fixed expenses including international and local dues, new member fees and housing fees (determined by the chapter). Additionally, there is a one-time initiation fee, and a membership badge must also be purchased. During recruitment a detailed statement of member financial obligations will be provided. Membership dues go toward leadership training, program development, chapter maintenance and a lifetime subscription to The Crescent, Gamma Phi Beta Sorority’s magazine. According to the U.S. Office of Education, less than two percent of the average college student’s expenses go toward sorority/fraternity dues.
