How much does it cost to be a member of a Greek group?
The financial commitment to joining a Greek organization varies between groups. Most members can expect to pay dues to their fraternity or sorority, however, these costs are usually fairly low. Dues for each group go towards paying for group activities, social and educational programs done by the group on campus, service projects related to a group’s philanthropy, and other programmatic elements of a Greek organization. Every Greek group also receives a budget allocation in the fall of each academic year from the Pacific Undergraduate Community Council and the Inter-Greek Senate.
