How much does it cost to adopt from Ukraine?
This varies tremendously with how you choose to adopt. By completing most of the paperwork, travel, and educational process on your own, you can greatly reduce the cost of your adoption. Total costs can be as little as $25,000. Most families qualify for a $11,000 adoption tax credit from the US Federal Government, which can reduce total adoption costs to about $14,000. Traditional agency adoptions can be much more expensive and some can cost $40,000 or more. Most of our clients expenses will fall somewhere in between these extremes with total adoption costs of about $28,000 ($17,000 after the tax credit).
