How much does it cost per sqft to have floor and wall tiles installed?
We used craigs list to find a man to tile our kitchen floors/back hallway/2 bathroom floors/kitchen backsplash and tile the walls behind the bath tub. There was ALOT of cutting involved as we choose 18×18 inch travertine tiles for the flooring and 12×12 in the bathroom. All together I would say it was probably 500+ sq feet of tile, he did the underlayment, layed the tiles, and grouted the entire project for $2000. So I would say it was about $4 a sq foot. On a second note we had someone else quote us $1000 just to tile the bathtub surround area. . . .
