How much does it cost for work visa to uk?
A UK visa permitting you to work is quite hard to get – they are normally only given to temporary or domestic workers, or “highly skilled workers”. A visa for someone who already has a job offer to fill a job that is hard to fill from within the UK applies under Tier 2 of the points-based system and that costs £215. A visa for a domestic worker costs the same, and for a temporary worker it is £125. Under the general category of Tier 1, which applies to people who don’t already have a job offer but qualify as “highly skilled”, the cost is £675. In all cases you need to show that you have enough money to support yourself in case employment is not forthcoming. Information sheets on all the different types of UK visa are at http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/… and there is a link from there to what the current fees are.
