How much does it cost for kitchen Worktop damage?
I’m not really familiar with English currency, but I can tell you that the landlord probably does have a legal right to charge you if you burned the worktop. Even if it’s a small damage, the whole laminate will have to be replaced. I would try getting some touch-up paint to cover up the damage. Regardless of whether or not something is high-quality or not, people damaging a landlord’s rentals cause problems for the maintenance department and the future tenants. My job is repairing apartments and I hate trying to fix damaged worktops myself.
