How much does it cost a family to stay at GMCH?
Care at George Mark Children’s House is free to all eligible children and families and is almost entirely supported by private donations from the community. GMCH is working to improve reimbursement policies with private insurers and MediCal so that this type of care is covered. However, families with inadequate healthcare coverage, no insurance or limited resources will not be denied services. If full reimbursement is available, although rare, the daily rate for care is $2,000 per day for transitional and respite care; $3,000 per day for end of life care.
