How much does cat chemo-therapy cost when treating feline lymphoma?
is a tough one. One of our male cars we had for 12 years developed Lymphoma..after being mis diagnosed with something else. Money wise it would have cost at least 3,000 with a not very good chance of recovery. I guess its like with people cancers. Anyway I decided we would try something else…so we put him on a truly wholefoods diet……free range meat, lots of veggies, fruits etc….we made it for him daily..I was also able to obtain leukerin, a regular pharmaceutical drug for cancer, and because of my job at that time, I was able to have someone divide the pill into fourths(due to his weight) and we gave him one very other day. he was extremely healthy, happy and pain free for 18 months. The first 3 months of the drug therapy combined with good nutrition, he really started going back to his old shelf……he was “kitten like” But we knew when it was time…but my mom was very grateful for the 18 months she had with him, because those were good healthy months.
