How much does Antimatter cost?
It costs billions of dollars to make anti-particles. We have made anti-neutrons, negatons (anti-protons) and plenty of positrons (anti electrons). These are made in heavy duty particle colliders. A few thousandths of a gram of anti-protons were created and held in an magnetic bottle for a short while by CERN in the 1990’s. Antimatter as in say an anti-hydrogen atom we have not made nor collected. We have the theory and a fair idea of how to go about making such, the cost is prohibitive when it comes to doing so – however the greatest cost would be in keeping antimatter around, it needs to be isolated completely from normal matter. considering that there is no way to create a 100% vacuum well you see the limitations.
