How much does an Ear Lobe Piercing hurt ?
I just got mine done after worrying about the very same thing! I got them done with a gun. The gun did get “stuck,” which was my worst fear, but nothing bad happened. I held still, and the piercer got it off without any issue at all. Have you ever had a vaccination? The piercing itself feels like a vaccination, except over much faster. I am a wuss with shots! I cry and carry on! This felt the same, but was over quickly enough that I didn’t even realize it hurt, and I’m still not sure if it did or not! Considering I didn’t flinch (while I’ll yank away from a shot), it couldn’t have been that bad. I wouldn’t even call it a pinch. Now, I will be honest with you – it’s very hot afterwards. This is not the part you’re afraid of, I’m sure. It feels like the aftermath of a bee sting, except not quite so stingy – it’s the same hot, tingly sensation. This went on for the rest of the day, and sleeping on my side that night wasn’t very comfortable. But the piercing itself was completely painless.
