That was much higher than those who worked for personal services–normally self-employed–who earned as little as $16.53 as an hourly rate. Geography The salary for aestheticians varies by state. For example, aestheticians in the state of Washington made an average of $19.83 per hour, whereas those in Nevada averaged only $10.03 per hour.
