How much does a white tiger weigh?
They weigh nowhere near 2000lbs! The largest tiger subspecies, the Siberian tiger, weighs only 660lbs, maximum. White tigers are a colour form of Bengal tigers, which usually weigh between 430 and almost 600lbs. Their colour is caused by a genetic condition called leucism, which results in reduced pigmentation. This is not the same as albinism, which is a complete lack of pigment – an albino tiger has totally white fur (no stripes) and pink eyes, not blue.
