How much does a silver chain cost?
Silver is sold pretty much by weight. Therefore, the heavier thr chain, the more it’s going to cost. I would recommend that you get a link chain for a guy because they tend to be hard on jewelry. Go to one of those large, discount department stores to get it since the same manufacturers in Italy supply both the discount stores and the jewelry stores with the same chains made the same way from the same machines. The heavier the chain is, the more durable it will be (except for the little jump ring connecting the clasp to the chain–that’s not soldered because it’s cheaper to replace a jump ring than to replace a link).
