How much does a pint of beer cost in Turin, Italy?
As mentioned above, Italy uses the metric system. A beer might cost you EUR 3 at a regular bar (the kind you would go to at lunch for a sandwich, not the kind you’d sit at for hours with your friends), EUR 5 at a wine bar (where you’d go in the evening after dinner or before going to a disco) and between EUR 7 -10 at a disco (where drinks are always overpriced). Probably the cheapest disco in Turin is Giancarlo, which is by the Murazzi. Ask any local… it’s famous for being so low-class! When I lived in Turin (last year) Rock City had an all-you-can-drink night, which I believe was Wednesday. If you want to party somewhere a bit nicer, Teatro in the city center (near Piazza San Carlo) is probably the cleanest, best-smelling bar in the city while Hennessey is the place where Turin’s rich kids go to seen and be seen (outside of the city in the hills across the river).
