How much does a physical therapist make per year?

National average salary is around $66,000 a year. Yet, it also depends on where you live and how much experience you have. Much of the PT profession has been working less than 10 years, therefore, the average salary may be downwardly slanted at this time. As of the last APTA survey in 2005, 25% of PTs where making more than $75,000. Yet, the vast majority fell inbetween the $50,000-$70,000 range…I assume many of those near the $50,000 range were new graduates.
