How much does a Mastiff eat and do they chew much?
Mastiffs do eat as much as you may think. While they are growing, they can pack the food away. Of course, pound for pound the larger the animal the greater the energy needs are for each pound of body weight. Exactly how much food your dog needs to eat depends on many factors including his size, age, time of year (during colder weather they will need to eat more, in the summer less), and activity level.
