How Much Does A Grown Miniature Poodle Weigh?
They aren’t classified as miniature by weight but inches at the shoulder. To be classified as a Miniature Poodle (show) they are over 10 inches and less than 15 at the shoulder. Under 10 inches need be shown as toy and over 15 inches need be shown as standard. Weight of a miniature is usually 12 to 18 pounds or so. Generally pretty small dogs but not too small especially if not counting hair from a more complicated or show cut. ;-). Random story: There used to be someone in my town that bred their Poodles. The dogs they bred were toys and on the smaller side (4 to 6 pound range). This was used to demonstrate how small the pups would be. Had a friend or two even get pups (rolls eyes due to all the insanely bad and irresponsible breeding). Over many years and many pups I never did see a pup they bred that was a toy.
