How much does a full set of dentures cost?
Unfortunately, the cost of a set of dentures doesn’t insure the quality. As someone who owned and operated a commercial dental laboratory for 20 years, I can assure you that Price in no way assures you that the best quality materials was used….I often had orders to create dentures from the cheapest materials possible and I knew they were being sold as High Quality dentures. Dentist are not trained to create dentures with their own hands and therefore must purchase them from a Dental Laboratory that employee’s technicians who do have the expertise. The average Lab fee to the dentist for a cheap set is about $185.00. A high quality set cost the dentist an average of $265.00 per set. The average dentist mark-up is from 5 to 10 times the Lab fee.
