How much does a dancer earn?
This varies depending on the job that the dancer is required to do. Dancers in regular employment can earn anything between 350 and 1200 per week. How do you do two different styles of dance at the same time? Can you be a major in one style e.g. Contemporary and a minor in another like street but still be able to do them equally? How would someone go about doing that? It is definitely possible to study and train in more than one dance style. Often many contrasting styles can actually complement eachother. For example, if you area trained classical dancer then the strength, agility and discipline that you will have gained over the years of intense classical training will give you great physical foundations as a street dancer. Similarly if you are a street dancer, then your ability to learn choreography quickly, readiness to use varying levels to create dynamics, knowledge of contemporary music and musical layers along with the ability to inject soul and self expression into your perform
