How much does a consult cost?
Consultations are charged based on the amount of time you meet with Dr. Feltes. As stated above, initial consultations typically last around 2 to 3 hours and include 4 FREE months of phone follow up. The fee is $155 per hour. For consultations in your home/stable, the travel fee is $30 for the first 10 miles and $20 for every 15 miles thereafter (maximum travel fee is $100). This is charged only one way. The Behavior Clinic accepts Visa, Mastercard, Cash, Personal Check and Care Credit. Shelters, Rescue Groups and Foster Homes are eligible for a $30 discount per hour. Recheck Consultations are also often recommended. All Aggression Cases require our veterinary behavioral technician to accompay the veterinarian and a $25 Technician Fee will be assessed. Doctor Rechecks with Dr. Feltes cost $95 per hour and typically last about 1 to 2 hours, occurring typically 3-4 months after the initial consult.
