Agreeing with scubabob, it depends on alot of factors. Number one will you be an “inland” diver or an “offshore” diver? Inland divers tend to do better if the specialize i.e. nuclear, welding, etc. Offshore divers will eventually make more but, in the beginning things may be tough. In either case you will travel alot for your money. I personally know guys who are 15year Diver 1 / Supervisors who are working in SAT, spending around 200 days offshore a year, and making $225,000 a year. If you want that kinda money offshore is where you need to be but, its a rough life. I’ve managed six figures working about 6 months offshore and done around $70k for a year inland but, I’ve also put my time in.
