How much does a Beginner Womens Road bike cost?

If you want a women’s specific frame, you’ll have to spend a little more on an entry level bike than you would with a normal frame. Normal beginners’ road bikes go from $400 to $700 usually, and the women’s specific models are a couple hundred dollars more. I think it’s just a supply and demand thing. Trek and Specialized have some very nice women’s designs, and the Scott Contessa is a sweet ride with a great paint job! Check them out. If you can afford to spend in the $900 to $1300 range, you’ll have a much better bike that will be more enjoyable to ride, but the entry level bikes nowadays are still pretty decent. Just try to stay away from the $100-$250 road bikes….those are heavy, sluggish, and full of maintenance problems down the road.
