How much do waitresses get paid in tips?
It all depends. On a busy Friday or Saturday night you could bring home A LOT if you’re a good server. Generally, the better service people receive from you, the higher the tip. If you were working on a slow night, then you obviously wouldn’t make as much. If you work at a more expensive restaraunt, you can make even more because people base tips on a percentage of their bill. I tip between 10 and 20% depending upon what kind of service I received. I’ve heard of waitresses coming home with 400 dollars in their pocket from one night. You could also wind up with about 50 bucks, there’s no certainity.
