How much do updates cost?
Minor updates have always been free to paid-up users and I expect to continue this policy. New license keys are not needed for minor updates such as 7.0 – 7.4 to 7.5. If you bought Transcribe! up to April 2004 then that was version 6 : upgrade from version 6 to version 7 stopped being free at the end of 2005. If you didn’t take advantage of the 20 months’ opportunity to get a free upgrade then it’s too late and you will need to buy version 7 if you want it. On the other hand if you bought Transcribe! after April 2004 then your registration email contained a version 7 license key so use it.
