How much do text messages cost to send and receive?
Alltel has several available Text Messaging rate plans that lets customers pay per month or pay per message. Text messages cost .15 cents each unless you have signed up for one of our messaging plans. If you use more than your plan offers there will be a charge of .15 cents for each additional text message. *Note: Text Message charges are assessed for both incoming and outgoing messages. Prepaid customers: Text messages are $0.10 each unless you have added one of our text messaging packages or have unlimited text messaging with your plan.
