Usually the weekly fees will be broken down by: Lineage – paying for the games each week Prize fund – pooling that percentage for payout at the end of the league, including trophies, cash payout and sweeper payout Sponsor fee – to pay the league “sponsor(s)” for their support and also to help defray their advertising costs Bowling team shirts – sometimes included if the league is exclusively sponsored by a specific industry and major company Misc – team photos, side pot “games” during league, perks like end of league banquet, trips or guaranteed gifts (bowling ball, bag, shoe, bicycle, sports team tickets, etc…..) and administrative costs for USBC awards For a fall/winter league I usually bowl in, the league fees are specifically broken down where it’s 1/2 for lineage, 1/4 for prize fund and 1/4 for misc. Sponsor fees and USBC dues have to be paid within the 1st two weeks of league start. Every local association and league sets their own rules and fee breakdown. Check with your leagu
